Team Andy Gibson Spotlight – Getting to know Scott Starnes

Part of selecting a real estate agent at the Lake of the Ozarks to work with when selling, buying, or leasing your home is getting to the know the staff you’ll be working with. Team Andy Gibson wants to make sure you feel comfortable with our teams’ abilities. In order to make sure you feel confident and at ease, we want to spotlight our newest team member so you can get to know him a little better. It is our pleasure to introduce team member Scott Starnes – Our Leasing Director and newest Real Estate Agent!


A Little About Scott

Scott is the newest member of our team and we couldn’t be more excited! Scott grew up near the Lake of the Ozarks in Lebanon, MO. However, through the years he has lived in many different locations of the Midwest. He and his wife, Cathy,  recently moved back to the area from Michigan. He comes from a background of 35 plus years in retail management, in which he attributes to his amazing ability to provide outstanding customer service to everyone that he meets. Early on, Scott had dreams of becoming an FBI agent.  He's always had a willingness to help others.  Choosing a path in real estate gives him the ability fulfill his dream, meanwhile guiding others to achieve theirs.

Scott and Cathy are blessed with a large family. They have eight children, fifteen grandchildren, and more on the way!  Scott is definitely family oriented which means in his free time, he spends as much time with his family as possible. Scott’s biggest inspiration is his family. They also have a cat named Lucky and two dogs named Phoebe and Tinker Bell.

Scott also considers himself a big Sci-fi nerd and Star Trek fan. He enjoys spending time on the golf course as much as possible as well.

Scott and Andy have sat down together many times over the last year to discuss real estate.  They quickly realized they had many of the same values. Scott and Andy always admired each other’s integrity and the desire to do what is best for everyone. Scott’s willingness to learn, work hard, his kind spirit, and desire to do whatever he can for others are just a few of his qualities that align with the teams big picture and made it the perfect fit. The timing was right for Scott to join our team.
