Meet Team Andy Gibson!
The Team Andy Gibson members have years of experience and knowledge of the real estate industry. Our experiences and time in the field have taught us a lot and have put us in unique positions to handle just about any scenario that could arise when dealing with a real estate transaction. We respect the importance of knowing what kind of experience an agent has before choosing to work with them. So, without further ado, we'd like to share with you a little about each of our team members!
Andy Gibson - Owner & Team Leader
Andy Gibson is no novice to real estate at the Lake of the Ozarks. He began his real estate career as a long-term leasing manager for Keys to the Lake in 2010. Within his first year, he had doubled the company’s rental inventory and doubled it again the following year. With his continued success as the Long-Term Leasing Director and Real Estate Salesperson, he went on to become Vice President of Operations for Keys to the Lake. Andy’s extensive experience as a property manager at the Lake area, as well as a background in home construction and sales, have given him an excellent knowledge base for real estate. He has a wide-range in Real Estate expertise, including first-time home buyers, investment properties, and second-home living.
Andy has been the recipient of the “Summit Award of Excellence” presented by the Bagnell Dam Association of Realtors ® for the last two years in a row, and this year received the "Pinnacle Award of Excellence"! He strives to stay ahead on his real estate education and in doing so, obtained his Broker’s License in 2015. His unmatched work ethic and desire to help others by sharing his vast knowledge of real estate at the Lake of the Ozarks have led him to his next big step in the real estate industry of leading a team of his own.
Clint Ladouceur - Real Estate Agent
Clint has been part of the Real Estate Industry for well over 20 years. Clint understands that educating the client about current market trends and general conditions that are specific to the lake enables clients to make effective businesslike decisions. Through education and information sharing Clint feels that his clients are enabled to reach decisions that are best suited for their family. Prior to his career as a real estate agent at the Lake of the Ozarks, he held various executive positions with banks throughout the Southeast.
Since moving his family to the Lake in 2002, Clint continues to be publicly recognized for his contributions to the Lake area, both in real estate as well as in humanitarian services. Clint firmly believes that the needs of clients must be met with understanding, compassion, timeliness, accuracy, and with unwavering competence. This approach has led to years of satisfied clients willing to share their personal experiences, leading to real estate referrals, which has enabled Clint’s portfolio to flourish year after year.
Laura Hatfield - Real Estate Agent
Laura is originally from the state of California. She was raised in Northern CA, where she received a degree in Theater from San Diego State University, with a major in Musical Theater. Laura moved from Los Angeles to Branson in 1993 and performed there for many years as a singer/dancer/actress in Mississippi Love, Smoke on the Mountain, and other various variety shows. The most famous venue she performed in was the saloon show at Silver Dollar City. Yes, she was a saloon girl! Growing up, her passions were dancing and singing, which she got to live out during her time in Branson! Nowadays, her singing career is mostly spent in church where she sings on the worship team and plays guitar and keyboard.
Laura and her family moved to Lake of the Ozarks when her husband was offered a job back in 2014. Laura has 4 children, including two older step children who have blessed her with 3 grandchildren. She also has 2 miniature schnauzers and the best cat EVER! Her youngest will graduate in 2019 and is all about the band. Her and her husband are in the band booster for School of the Osage, and couldn’t love it any more. She has also recently joined the Greater Lakes Area Chorale and enjoys it very much! Laura loves to travel. She's been to 38 states and about a dozen different countries. She's also been skydiving twice! So, nerves don't get the best of her!
Dustin Cox - Real Estate Agent
Dustin is originally from Central Illinois and relocated to the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks in 2014 with his wife, Haleigh. She is a Speech-Language Pathologist for the Camdenton School District. Dustin recently obtained his real estate license and continues to work as an Insurance & Financial Representative with COUNTRY Financial. Dustin and Haleigh have an energetic golden retriever named Stella that loves the lake life as much as they do!
Chances are you've seen Dustin around the Lake area as he keeps busy in the lake community and serves as the current President of the Young Professionals at the Lake-an extension of the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as President-Elect for the Lake Ozark Rotary Noon Club. Both Dustin and his wife enjoy being a part of the Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club, which helps kids in a variety of ways around the lake area. He's met many great people and made lifelong friendships by staying involved in the Lake of the Ozarks community.
Samantha Carr - Office Manager & Listing Coordinator
While Samantha Carr hasn't been in the real estate industry very long, she's come a long way in her short time. In her opportunity to become part of Team Andy Gibson, she's quickly become the glue that holds the office together, so to speak. Samantha handles the entry of all new listings, ensuring that they get propagated across the many online marketing tools Team Andy Gibson uses to advertise properties. She also assists the agents in making sure all I's are dotted and T's are crossed when it comes to contracts. And when properties go under contract, she's involved in ensuring that deadlines are met and that the closing goes smoothly.
With a MBA in Accounting, she also utilizes her background in financing to play another significant role in the team - making sure the numbers add up and that finances are cared for. Samantha wears many hats in her role with the Team Andy Gibson Team, and her hard work and dedication doesn't go unnoticed!
