Thankfully, even in the coldest time of the year, the Lake has so many activities and events to participate in for all ages! Check out some of the local activities that we have to look forward to around the Lake of the Ozarks in February:

Help raise money to help those in need right here in our community. Please join the Lake Ozark Daybreak Rotary in celebrating our 21st annual Winterfest Gala at Tan-Tar-A Resort, Saturday, February 24th 2018. Event festivities will include a Silent Auction by Rick Bryant, Wine Pull, back by popular demand. Live entertainment by the i-Berrys, Buffet Dinner, Door Prizes and lots of fun! Do you have a kiddo at home who would love to be a part of the Polar Plunge? This event is open to any child through 9 years of age and will be held Feb. 23 at 6:30pm at the Osage Beach Fire Dept.—Fire House # 2 on Hwy KK. There is a $25 registration fee and each PeeWee Plunger will receive an official event t-shirt. If your Plunger decides to go above and beyond with fundraising and raise $100+, he/she will receive a fun Polar Plunge prize also.

This "unbearable" event is a unique opportunity to show your bravery as you support local Special Olympics athletes by plunging into the frigid winter waters. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Missouri. SOMO exists to provide year-round sports and training opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities and our athletes need you to get involved.

Participants must be at least 10 years old and raise a minimum of $75 each by event day. Held at Lake of the Ozarks State Park Public Beach #2 in Osage Beach. Join the Plunge After Party at Tan-Tar-A from 4 - 7pm. This year special guest Kricket Alley will be performing along with the best silent/live auction. Appetizers, 2 drink tickets, entertainment by one of the best bands at the Lake and loads of fun will be free for Polar Plungers and $10 for guests. Make plans today so you don't miss out on the fun!
